Ucon sits right on the US-20 corridor between Idaho Falls and Rigby, which puts it square in the path of the valley's growth: farm parcels splitting into acreage lots, each one needing a driveway that doesn't exist yet and a pad where a field used to be. That first-infrastructure work is what we do in Ucon most.
Glitter Gulch Ground Works comes down from Rexburg, twenty minutes up the same highway, with the skid steer and dump trailer that handle the whole sequence: clear what's in the way, cut and gravel the drive, shape the pad, haul the spoil. One outfit, one free written estimate: (701) 421-4235.

A bare parcel's first driveway decides how every later delivery, concrete truck, and moving van gets in. We cut it where the water says it should go, not just the shortest line, build the base to carry construction traffic, and top it so it survives being a job-site road before it retires into being a driveway.
Approaches matter here too: the transition off the county road has to handle the drop, the drainage, and the school-bus sightlines. We build the approach and the drive as one piece so there's no soft spot where they meet. If your access touches a state or county right-of-way, get their sign-off first and we will build to it.
Ucon is still farm country between the new houses, and the standing work reflects it: lanes to fields and bins regraded after harvest traffic, gateways that churn to mud rocked firm, ditch banks cleared so the water runs, and fence lines opened back up. The brush work and the gravel work travel together on most of these calls.
For the acreage owners, it's the same jobs at house scale, plus the stump row from the windbreak that came down and the pile that needs to leave. We fit those into one visit whenever the schedule allows, because mobilizing once is cheaper than three times.
